Course Assessment Fee Update – Effective Academic Year 2026
At University of the People, we remain committed to our mission of eliminating the barriers to higher education and providing accessible, quality learning opportunities to students around the world.
As part of our ongoing commitment to offering the most affordable tuition-free education possible, we periodically review our fees to ensure long-term sustainability while continuing to uphold rigorous academic standards. Beginning Term 1 of Academic Year 2026, assessment fees for your program will be updated.
Your updated assessment fee amount is $140 per course.
We have worked diligently to keep the fees as low as possible and remain the most affordable option for higher education in the U.S. today.
While this change reflects the rising operational costs impacting institutions globally, we want to reassure you that UoPeople remains a non-profit, tuition-free institution.
